What type of payments are accepted?

You can pay by cash, Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or PayPal.

Can the amount be paid to the driver in cash?


When is the transportation price due for payment?

You can pay online at the time of booking or simply pay the amount at the time of transfer.

How many people can use AirportLiner at the same time?

As many as you wish. More specific requests can be negotiated.

What is the difference between the shared shuttle service, the individual transfer and the Limousine service?

If you book a Shared shuttle, there will be other passengers will be on board.

Please note: On transfers from the airport, there could be an average waiting time of 20 min.

If you book an Individual transfer or Limousine service, the vehicle is just for you and your guests. Your vehicle will depart immediately and there will be no unnecessary detours.

If you booked an individual transfer, or have specifically requested a personal pick up from your gate then our driver will be waiting for you in front of the Customs area with a name plate and will then escort you to the vehicle.

Can I choose the pick-up time for transfers to the airport?

Only if you have booked an Individual transfer. For the Shared shuttle service, airportLiner will arrange the pick-up time for you.

At what time should I arrive at the Airport before departure?

For national flights we advise our customers to be at the airport 1 hour before their flight departs.

For international flights within Europe, we advise to be at the airport approx. 1,5 hours before departure.

For international flights we advise customers to be at the airport around 2 - 3 hours before departure time due to Customs. 

What happens if there is a traffic jam on the way to the airport?

As we travel back and forth from Munich Airport and Regensburg up to 48x daily, we are very up-to-date regarding the traffic.

Should I bring a child seat with me, if one is needed? 

The safety of your child is important for us. If possible, please bring your own seat belt. In exceptional cases we will provide one of our limited child seats for you, if information about the age and weight of the child is given in advance. If your child needs a Maxi-Cosi please bring your own Maxi-Cosi.

What do I do when I arrive at the airport?

Make sure you have all your luggage and belongings and walk through Customs. 
Then, make your way to our Service Desk. You will find further instructions on how to find our Service Desk here.

What do I do if the flight is delayed or the flight number has changed?

Can I bring my pet?

This is only possible if you have booked an Individual transfer.

Can I bring my bike?

Yes, but only if you have stowed it in a separate box, specifically made for bikes (as outlined by your airline).
There will also be an extra charge of 10 €.
Please advise us if you intend to bring your bike at time of booking.

Can I bring a stroller or a wheelchair if I need one?

Yes of course, foldaway or collapsible strollers and wheelchairs can be transported at no extra cost. Please advise us at time of booking.

How is the contract between the customer and AirportLiner formed?

The contract is formed through mutual agreement to the terms. This applies to all bookings (online, by telephone etc.).

Can I cancel a reservation? 

In principle, cancellations with prepayment trigger a processing fee of at least 15%.

In the case of a cancellation of the passenger with individual bookings up to 48 hours before the start of the order, a flat rate of 50% of the agreed fare is generally to be paid. 

If cancellation takes place up to 12 hours prior to the start of the order, a cancellation fee will be charged. 75% of the agreed fare is due.

In case of cancellation of the passenger less than 12 hours before the start of the contract, the booked service must be paid in full.

In the event of a passenger's failure to meet at the agreed time, the fare already paid will be withheld in full.

What type of vehicles can be provided for the different types of transfers?

Mercedes-Benz Buses - modern, air conditioned 8 or 20 seaters.
Mercedes-Benz luxury extralong V-Class - 6 seaters, and E-Class
Mercedes-Benz S-Class highest equipment in the Chauffeur Variant.
