How does airport shuttle, individual transfer and limousine service work?

With the airport shuttle, you travel with other passengers from your desired address to your desired gate at Munich Airport. During your journey, other travelers will join your route. When confirming the order, a time corridor of one hour is mentioned when picking up. We will determine this promptly according to your desired arrival at the airport. You will find out your exact pick-up time from us by SMS the day before your trip until 6 p.m. After your landing at Munich Airport, the meeting point is at our service desk. This results in a stay of an average of 20 minutes until your fellow travelers arrive.

For individual transfers and limousine services, the vehicle is reserved for you as a guest. We will drive you directly to your desired address. You decide at what time we will pick you up from your address. When you land at the airport, your chauffeur will be waiting for you at the customs exit with a name tag. We will then drive you directly to your desired destination.

Can I also be picked up at night?

Yes, we will pick you up from your desired address at any time of the day or night and drive you to your destination address. Whether to Munich Airport, Nuremberg or Salzburg. Easily book a ride, get in and relax.

Will I be driven from the front door to my departure gate at the airport?

Yes, we will pick you up from your desired address and drive you to your departure gate at the airport. Your chauffeur knows your flight number and knows from which gate your flight departs. This service is included in all types of service.

Can I set the pick-up time to the airport myself?

Only for individual transfers. With the airport shuttle, we determine the pick-up time for you as soon as possible according to your desired arrival. You will find out your exact pick-up time by SMS the day before your trip until 6 p.m.

When should I be at the airport before departure?

It depends on your destination. Domestic flights in Germany about 1 hour, European flights about 1.5 hours, international flights 2 to 3 hours.

What should I do if my plane is delayed or the flight number/time changes?

We check your flight with the information we receive from the tower and are well informed about your flight. If your flight number changes or you choose a new flight, please let us know by phone +49 (0) 941 22220.

What do I do if I land at Munich Airport?

If you have booked our airport shuttle, take your luggage, go through customs and then to our service desk at Terminal 1. A map with directions can be found here. Our chauffeur will welcome you with other travelers to our service desk. In addition to the seating, there is the daily updated local newspaper and shopping facilities nearby. The average stay is 20 minutes.

You don’t know the way to our service desk yet? You are welcome to book the meet & greet service. We will pick you up directly at the customs exit at your arrival terminal with a name tag and help you with your luggage. Select this option when booking.

With the individual transfer, your chauffeur will pick you up at the customs exit at your arrival terminal. You can recognize your chauffeur by a blue/white airportLiner sign with your name. Now it’s time to go directly to your desired destination.

What payment options are there?

We accept a wide range of payment methods including credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club International, JCB, CUP, maestro, Carte Bleue, Carte bancaire, Dankort), PayPal, giropay and Sofort. This allows you to choose the method you like best. You can pay conveniently via our website or via a payment link in the confirmation email.

How does the free cancellation option work?

If you also have a free cancellation option booked, you have the option to cancel free of charge up to 16 hours before the planned transfer. Please let us know your cancellation request by phone. In the event of timely telephone cancellation, there will be no processing fees for you. Select this option with your booking.

For prepaid transfers, we will then reimburse the transfer costs immediately. Without cancellation protection, the general cancellation conditions with the corresponding processing fees apply.

Can I cancel my booking?

Of course, you can cancel your booking at any time.

We recommend booking the “free cancellation option” with it. With this, you can cancel free of charge up to 16 hours before your pick-up or arrival at the airport. Below you will find our general cancellation policy:

In case of cancellation, there is no right to a refund of the prepayment made. Cancellations can be made in writing by e-mail to service@airportliner.com or in good time by post to airportLiner GmbH & Co. KG, Siemensstraße 5, 93055 Regensburg.

In principle, cancellations trigger a processing fee of at least 15% upon advance payment.

In the event of a withdrawal of the passenger for individual bookings up to 48 hours before the start of the order, a flat fee of 50% of the agreed fare must usually be paid.

If a cancellation is made up to 12 hours before the start of the order, a cancellation fee of 75% of the agreed fare is due.

In the event of no-show by the passenger at the agreed time, the fare already paid will be withheld in full or the fare will be charged in full.

What does an express booking mean?

An express booking allows you to quickly and easily book a ride for the current day or the next. Our express bookings are ideal for customers who spontaneously need a transfer to Munich or Nuremberg airport and cannot plan in advance. To make an express booking, you can use our online booking portal or contact our customer service. Please note that the price for an express booking may differ from the regular fare. This is due to the fact that for short notice bookings we have to allocate additional resources in order to provide you with the requested service.

Do you charge additional fees for cashless payments?

We do not charge any additional fees for using cashless payment methods such as credit card, giropay and Sofort. The prices for our services remain unchanged depending on the payment method chosen.

Will I receive confirmation of my payment?

Yes, after completing your payment you will receive a confirmation via email or on the payment confirmation page. This confirmation serves as proof of your transaction.

Will I receive confirmation of my payment?

The ability to cancel or refund payments may vary depending on the payment method and our terms and conditions. We can usually process cancellations or refunds in accordance with our policies. The cancellation conditions in our general terms and conditions apply.

When will I receive my invoice?

After your trip, you will receive your invoice by email on the following working day. If you are missing one of these emails, please check your spam folder to be on the safe side. Please remember to provide the correct billing address when making your booking, as changes are no longer possible once the invoice has been issued.

In which language will I receive my invoice?

You will receive the invoice in German. Another language such as English is currently not possible.

Do I have to take a child seat with me?

The safety of your child is our top priority, so we ask you to take your child seat with you if possible. We will be happy to keep your child seat until your return journey. Alternatively, it is possible to drop it off at the bulky goods counter at the airport. In exceptional cases, we provide one of our child seats. Please indicate the size and age of the child when booking. If your child needs a Maxi Cosi, please bring your own infant car seat.

Can I take my pet with me?

Pets can only be taken in the individual transfer.

Can I take my bike with me?

Yes, in special freight cartons without mounted pedals and without mounted handlebars. The transport of the bicycle / box must be named in any case when booking and costs €12 /journey.

Can I take my stroller or wheelchair with me?

Yes, strollers and folding wheelchairs can be taken at no extra charge. The carriage of the stroller or wheelchair must be specified when booking.

Until when can I book online?

You can book your transfer online until 7 p.m. the day before. Short-term or urgent inquiries are possible by phone at +49 (0)941 22220.

How many people can use the airport shuttle?

As many as you wish.

What happens if there is a risk of congestion?

We are our best traffic jam detector and inform each other. Since we commute constantly between Regensburg and Munich Airport – up to 48 times a day – delays on the route are rather the exception.

Which vehicles are used for airport transfer?

Modern air-conditioned 8-seater Mercedes-Benz minibuses,
Luxurious Mercedes-Benz extra-long V-Classes,
E-Classes, as well as our best equipped Mercedes-Benz S-Class in the chauffeur variant.

What is the journey time from Regensburg to Munich Airport?

The journey time from Regensburg to Munich Airport is around 90 minutes in the airport shuttle calculated from the last pickup address on your route

For individual transfers or limousines, the journey time is around 75 minutes.
