What is RE.LIGHT Regensburg?

RE.LIGHT Regensburg is an international light art festival that combines historic architecture, modern projection technology, and digital art. The UNESCO World Heritage Old Town of Regensburg becomes an impressive open-air stage for mapping shows, installations, and multimedia performances.

The international light art festival in Regensburg will take place from March 12 to March 22, 2026. Following its success in 2024, the festival will once again transform the Old Town into an immersive landscape of light and video art.

The historic setting makes RE.LIGHT one of the most atmospheric light events in southern Germany. Venues for RE.LIGHT 2026 include:
